Test Analyst (Job #692)

Location: Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH
Required Clearance: Secret

Summary

The Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO)/ Maintenance Repair and Overhaul – Supply (MRO-S) Functional Management Office (FMO) requires the support of an Test Analyst. This person will represent the Functional Management Office (FMO) and support all MRO/MRO-S FMO testing activities.

Responsibilities

  • Experience in Air Force Test and Evaluation of IT Systems to include: Agile testing, development of required documentation, test design, testing methods, standards, tools, DoD and Air Force policies, and processes required to ensure accreditation of deployed software.
  • Familiarity with cyber security evaluation is a plus. Lead OCM planning for deployment and implementation of the MRO/MRO-S production solutions.
  • Performs diagnostic testing to ensure systems are fully functional, performs system troubleshooting, and accurately documents specifications and test results. May help train/guide less experienced colleagues.
  • Supports the implementation of a Testing Center of Excellence, to include roadmaps for 'People', 'Process' and 'Technology’.
  • Communicates and supports MRO/MRO-S program policies and procedures. • Collaborate with various internal and external groups and organizations.
  • Some travel required

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • 6+ years Air Force and Department of Defense Information Technology (IT) systems testing experience.
  • Advanced skill and proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, Planner and Project. Cyber Security experience or familiarity is a plus.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze problems/issues, gather data and information, evaluate, and recommend alternative solutions.
