Summary

DAS Services is seeking a qualified Senior Program Analyst to join our team. The primary duty is to support a fast-paced, demanding, three-star headquarters organization located at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize program cost, schedule, and performance data and consolidate into reporting and brief Government Program Lead as requested.
• Support Government Program Lead with POM, Congressional Justification Book, APBB, and SPAR submissions and briefings.
• Maintain internal task tracker for the team section, assign tasks to appropriate team members, set suspense completion dates, and follow up until completed. Serve as Task Manager for tasks coming from outside the organization.
• Attend and participate in organizational staff calls, stand-ups, project office tag-ups, working groups, IPRs, or similar events; capture, assess, and monitor action items from meetings and engage in the resolution process; and propose responses to inquiries based on actions assigned. Prepare notes or after-action summaries and track team action items.
• Work with government lead to develop, track, and report on spend plans and financial execution for each project.
• Provide updated reports and brief all changes to Government Program Leads as requested.
• Plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload in a high-pace and detail-oriented environment.
• Apply extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite to develop numerous PowerPoint briefings, Excel spreadsheets, and documentation using Word and Adobe Acrobat.
• Assist with the extraction of Status of Funds from financial databases and reconcile financial reports as required.
• Analyze monthly reports, utilize the data for internal reporting, and for the planning of funding increments.
• Examine program budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations.
• Analyze budgeting and accounting reports and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual budget execution reports and briefs.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Active Secret Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
• 6+ years of experience as a program/budget/financial analyst
• Extensive understanding and experience with US Army program analysis, including cost, schedule, and performance, and its connection to budget formulation and financial execution
• Extensive understanding of the PPBE process
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Army acquisition streamlining initiatives, including the use of Other Transaction Agreements (OTA)
• Proficient in GFEBS

Desired Skills

• Experience in DoD acquisition programs
• Financial certifications such as DAU Financial Management
• Proficient in DTS
