Summary

DAS Services is seeking multiple Acquisition Program Analysts to join our team. The Acquisition Program Analyst provides direct support to Department of the Air Force acquisition organizations, assisting Government program offices and headquarters staff with the planning, analysis, oversight, and execution of acquisition programs across all phases of the program life cycle. This role supports senior decision-makers by delivering objective analysis, preparing acquisition and budget documentation, coordinating reviews and taskers, and ensuring programs comply with statutory, regulatory, and policy requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support acquisition program planning, execution, and oversight activities at the Headquarters, PEO, and program office levels
  • Analyze and maintain program planning, scheduling, budget, and management data
  • Develop, review, and staff acquisition documentation, including strategies, plans, briefings, and decision packages
  • Support milestone and senior-level reviews such as AFROCs, DABs, ASPs, AFRBs, CSBs, and Congressional cycles
  • Prepare and support PPBE documentation to ensure accurate articulation of program status, funding, and strategy
  • Conduct research and analysis on requirements, acquisition strategies, program execution, and phase transitions
  • Identify programmatic risks, issues, trends, and tradeoffs related to cost, schedule, and performance
  • Provide impartial assessments and recommendations to support senior leadership decision-making
  • Track compliance with acquisition policy, program direction, and statutory requirements
  • Coordinate and manage taskers, workflows, and organizational actions across multiple stakeholders
  • Develop briefings, read-aheads, reports, and rapid-response analyses for leadership and external engagements
  • Support responses to Congressional, OSD, Joint Staff, GAO, and Warfighter Urgent Needs
  • Maintain records, historical documentation, and program files in accordance with Government requirements
  • Handle classified and sensitive information in accordance with security protocols

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
    • Additional years experience may substitute
  • Experience supporting DoD or Air Force acquisition programs in a Program Office or Headquarters environment
  • Familiarity with DoD acquisition policies, life cycle frameworks, and PPBE processes
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and support senior-level stakeholders
